How to Offer Your Employees a Memorable Special Event by Hiring a Party Rental Specialist

There are professionals in every field of activity to offer their expert help. Arranging parties and special events for your organization is something that cannot be risked with the expertise of in-house staff unless you are prepared for a lot of avoidable lapses and gaffes. Professionals thorough in the business of arranging parties and events should be roped in to take charge of the tasks. Creating that special event is an art form that only party rental specialists can handle with success.

Event hosting requires precision in planning, experienced personnel, creative judgment, a large contact of entertainers, and the availability of the latest party equipment. Party rental specialists provide these facilities with ease. They transform an event in to a memorable occasion with their valuable service. Irrespective of the nature of the event –- whether it’s a birthday celebration of a top executive, the organization’s founding day anniversary, a training workshop, a charity show, a fundraising event, Christmas party, summer party, promotional event, laugh party, or the completion of a training program – party rental specialists have that uncanny ability to make them a perfect occasion.

How Hiring a Special Events Company can Make Your Next Event Better and Less Expensive

No organization can plan, promote and deliver a big party or special event on its own despite having all the necessary resources without some problem arising. It requires imagination and creative ideas to organize a special event or host a party. Technically, event organizers have better knowledge of the sense of lighting, creating a theme design, arrangement of tables, arrangement of props, and the entire styling of the event. They have perfect knowledge of the order of events in a party based on propriety and convenience. The array of entertainment options they provide is also stunning.

Special events companies have extensive list of contacts and the right support staff to include; of entertainers, party hosts, caterers, florists, light and sound specialists, bakers etc. They have the contact numbers of professional entertainers such as: stand-up comedians, singers, musicians, and magicians too. .

Special event organizers party planners plan according to your budget. They have several options when your budget doesn’t permit spending top dollar on the special event or party. They will suggest that you pare down on some of the other areas of the special event or private party to enhance the special event experience and delight your guests. This is where the special event organizer’s help becomes invaluable. With their direct experience from prior special events and private parties they will suggest the best option. Some event planners even have a pool of new and fresh ideas and contacts that you can select from based on your requirements for the special event or private party.

If it’s a dance party they can suggest the names of happening DJs. Their expertise in setting light and sound for these occasions is impeccable. If you wish to transport your employees to their childhood briefly then slides and jumpers can make them shed their inhibitions and become kids for a few hours. Event planners will arrange poker games to add fun and excitement to a party.

Most importantly special event companies have a thorough idea of how an event should be planned and arranged. Beginning from the setting of the chairs and tables taking account of space and the number of guests to the selection of a wonderful menu they can take care of everything.

Lose Weight Faster for an Upcoming Event

Losing weight fast might make you gain it way back faster, but sometimes you might need to lose weight faster for an upcoming event. So there is no harm in losing the weight off quickly.
Here are some tips to what you can do. If you are currently doing a high powered workout that does not give you a free ticket to eating anything and everything. For this diet plan your fat content is limited to a very minimum, all you can have is a slice of melon or a serving of fruit once a day. You need to have proteins such as salmon, chicken, avoid eating beef and mutton. Grill your protein intake at lunch time and dinner time. Eat your protein meat with fresh salad. Do not add any salt to your menus. Drink grapefruit juice after each of the meals. Do not skip breakfast. Once you have breakfast eat a high fiber based breakfast or have a serving of fruit. A boiled egg does not do any harm either. You should then have a glass of grapefruit juice. For lunch do the same. Stop your liquor intake, every glass of wine has calories in it. Your body will not be able to burn out the fat and the extra toxins together. Therefore if you want to lose weight say bye bye to the wine for some time. Once you have reached your ideal weight you might want to start the liquor but once in a blue moon. Drinking soup can be more beneficial then eating bread. For the moment since you want to lose weight try to get rid of as many carbs as possible. Once you introduce them back to your diet make sure you do that in moderation.

If you love chocolates, saturated fast, bananas, potatoes then you need to know that all these will make your losing weight process extremely difficult. Like all the experts agree speedy weight loss is usually guaranteed by eating more fruits and vegetables on a daily basis and avoiding starch, carbohydrates and even whole grains. But eating whole grains in moderation for intake only for breakfast are essential to give you the power jump for your day. Lose the weight quickly by following these strategies and keep it off with being more vigilant.

Is Your Money Blueprint Making You Richer or Poorer?

We all have a money blueprint. We are born with one. People's money habits tend to be very much like those of their parents and their parents before them. The problem is that:

"97% of all people live and die without learning how to earn money. Their poverty consciousness is passed on from one generation to the next."
Bob Proctor

I hear you ask "97%?" and the answer is yes. Look at it another way - 3% of the world's population earn 97% of its wealth.

However, our money blueprint also develops as a consequence of the interaction we have with our environment. Things that we hear, see, touch and smell that have monetary associations, especially when we are growing up and at our most impressionable, will have a lasting impact on us. The influence our up-bringing has on us is profound and, at the same time, it can be quite subtle for if you lack awareness then you may not understand how your money blueprint is actually making you richer or poorer.

Your inner-world creates your outer-world. So to see whether you have a wealth or poverty consciousness you only have to look at your:

1. Physical health
2. Bank account
3. Social life

Money cannot stay with a person who has a poverty consciousness and vice versa. I was listening to a teleconference the other day and the subject of lottery winners came up. It is a well-known phenomenon that many lottery winners soon lose all their money and sometimes end up more impoverished than before their windfall. They often lament that winning the lottery actually ruined their lives. One of the speakers said:

"They won a million dollars but they were not a millionaire."

How true! And here's the paradox - you have first to be a millionaire in your mind before you will be able to hold onto a million dollars. You have to develop a millionaire mindset if you want to become a millionaire or a billionaire mindset if you want to become a billionaire!

So what does your health, bank statements and social life say about your financial mindset?

Imagine you were preparing to build your ideal house. You instruct an architect who presents you with a set of plans. Unfortunately, the plans are not at all what you had in mind. Would you go ahead and build the house anyway hoping that somehow the builders would miraculously be able to follow these plans and still come up with your ideal house. Of course not! Until you change those architectural blueprints so that they are congruent with the image you have of your ideal home you will never be able to construct your ideal home. Similarly, until you alter your money blueprint, the level of income you earn will not change significantly.

So if your financial mindset is programmed for you to earn $100,000 per year and you are a commissioned salesperson then, on average that's how much you will earn. You may have a few months where you may far exceed your average income but your money blueprint will assert itself so that you end up earning $100,000. If you earn a salary rather than a commission, unless you change your wealth mindset, it's unlikely you will consider doing a job that will pay you $150,000 even though such a job could be well within your capabilities.

Many years ago Bob Proctor was delivering a seminar to a group of insurance agents. He suggested that anyone of them could write $500,000 in business in a year. They thought he was nuts and that he certainly didn't know anything about the insurance business.

During a break one agent, Dan Slovan, challenged Proctor and said that there were 20,000 agents in the company and in 100 years no one had ever written $500,000 in business. Proctor calmly told him:

"Well then you can be the first."

Slovan looked at Proctor incredulously and he was far from done with his objections. Proctor had told them that they could achieve this in a year and so Slovan reminded him that it was now August.

"Well, then it won't take you as long to do it. Don, if you can see yourself as a $5,000,000 producer and you get emotionally involved with that idea. You turn it over to your sub-conscious mind I guarantee that you will act differently and what you attract to you will be quite different. You'll do it."

Well, something Proctor said resonated with Slovan. He closed the year with just over $6,000,000 worth in business and guess what? When he crossed that imaginary threshold there was a string of fellow salesmen that followed. The income targets that were achievable had been forever changed in the minds of these salespeople.

So do you have a money blueprint that will support you in achieving your financial goals? If not, start the work on your inner-self first and riches will follow.

Bird Watching and The Latest In Internet Technology

One of the thrills of bird watching is the discovery of a species you have never seen before. In the past, a bird watcher often had to wait for a long time to get help in identifying a bird that he or she may not have recognized. Programs, like the one at Cornell University, allowed those who bird watch to submit photographs and descriptions of things that they had seen. The experts and researchers at the university would then help them identify the bird. The internet however, has eliminated the hassle of waiting for the mail. This information is available instantaneously online.

The ability to come home from a day in the fields of Belize watching birds, or even after bird watching in Costa Rica, and to sit down in front of a computer has given birth to a completely new realm of resources. Bird watchers can visit sites such as Birding and Birding Guide to access information about what they have seen through their binoculars while bird watching that day. There are several benefits to websites like these and the photographic resources available on the web.

Aside from written descriptions, the internet provides a wealth of photographic information to bird watchers. Photographs that would add up to literally mountains of books could quickly be searched, organized, and selected for viewing online. The convenience is immeasurable. The ability to get information quickly and accurately makes the research process an enjoyable one for most bird watchers.

One of the features that bird watchers who are internet savvy might find of particular interest is the communities that exist on the bulletin boards of websites catering to bird watching. These forums allow users to start, and participate in, conversations concerning a wide variety of topics that relate to birding.

Some conversations, called threads, are global in their scope and may include broad topics like equipment, which are not geographically specific. Other threads may be very geographically specific and give local bird watchers a place to share individual information about sightings and numbers in special locations that probably are not of interest to someone outside of that region.

In addition to the sense of community that bird watchers can find on the web, it also serves as a very useful tool for spreading information. Local chapters of bird watching clubs and conservation groups, such as The National Audubon Society, utilize the parent websites of their organizations to provide news of local interest.

They may also use this space to advertise upcoming events, seminars, conferences or group outings. A birder who wants to get involved and volunteer with an organization may also find opportunities to do so listed here. These websites are an ideal place to find a great deal of useful information.

The Only True Measure of PR

Sure, you could measure the rather narrow results achieved by tactical subsets of your public relations program like special events, brochures, broadcast plugs or press releases. On the other hand, you as a business, non-profit or association manager might better measure the results of your strategic efforts to alter individual perception among your key outside audiences leading to changed behaviors, which then help you achieve your managerial objectives.

I mean, can we agree that managers MUST plan to do something positive about the behaviors of those important external audiences of theirs that most affect their operation?

And especially so when they persuade those key outside folks to their way of thinking by helping to move them to take actions that allow their department, division or subsidiary to succeed?

But it takes more than good intentions for any manager to alter individual, key-audience perception leading to changed behaviors, something of profound importance to ALL business, non-profit and association managers.

He or she needs a plan dedicated to getting every member of the public relations team working towards the same external audience behaviors which insures that the organization’s public relations effort stays sharply focused.

The plan could be based on a foundation that looks like this: people act on their own perception of the facts before them, which leads to predictable behaviors about which something can be done. When we create, change or reinforce that opinion by reaching, persuading and moving-to-desired-action the very people whose behaviors affect the organization the most, the public relations mission is accomplished.

Results can materialize faster than you might suspect. For example, bounces in showroom visits; new proposals for strategic alliances and joint ventures; customers making repeat purchases; prospects starting to work with them;membership applications on the rise, and capital givers or specifying sources looking their way.

Watch the real performers at work. They find out whoamong their key external audiences is behaving in ways that help or hinder the achievement of their objectives. Then, they list them according to how severely their behaviors affect their organization.

Next they must determine how most members of that key outside audience perceive the organization. If the resources to pay for what could be costly professional survey counsel aren’t there, Ms. or Mr. manager and his or her PR colleagues will have to monitor those perceptions themselves. Actually, the PR folks should already be quite familiar with how to gather and assess perception and behavior data.

Doing so means meeting with members of that outside audience and asking questions like “Are you familiar with our services or products?” “Have you ever had contact with anyone from our organization? Was it a satisfactory experience?” And if you are that manager, you must be sensitive to negative statements, especially evasive or hesitant replies. Watch carefully for false assumptions, untruths, misconceptions, inaccuracies and potentially damaging rumors. When you find such, you will need to take steps to correct them, as they inevitably lead to negative behaviors.

Now comes the challenge of selecting the specific perception to be altered which then becomes your public relations goal. You obviously want to correct those untruths, inaccuracies, misconceptions or false assumptions.

The core reality of the whole drill is that a PR goal without a strategy to show you how to get there, is like corned beef and cabbage without the cabbage. It’s justnot the same. So, as you select one of three strategies (especially constructed to create perception or opinion where there may be none, or change or reinforce it,) what you must do is insure that the goal and its strategy match each other. You wouldn’t want to select “change existing perception” when current perception is just right suggesting a “reinforce” strategy.

Now the time has come when you must create a compelling message carefully constructed to alter your key target audience’s perception, as specified by your public relations goal.

Remember that you can always combine your corrective message with another news announcement or presentation which may give it more credibility by downplaying the apparent need for such a correction.

The content of the message must be compelling and quite clear about what perception needs clarification or correction, and why. Naturally you must be truthful and your position logically explained and believable if it is to hold the attention of members of that target audience, and actually move perception in your direction.

Occasionally, folks in the PR business will allude to the communications tactics necessary to move your message to the attention of that key external audience, as “beasts of burden” because they must carry your persuasive new thoughts to the eyes and ears of those important outside people.

Luckily, there is a wide choice because the list of tactics is lengthy. It includes letters-to-the-editor, brochures, press releases and speeches. Or, you might choose radio and newspaper interviews, personal contacts, facility tours or customer briefings. There are scores available and the only selection requirement is that the communications tactics you choose have a record of reaching people just like the members of your key target audience.

Of course, you can always move things along by adding more communications tactics, AND by increasing their frequencies.

Right about now, the subject of progress reports will arise, but you will already be hard at work remonitoring perceptions among your target audience members to test the effectiveness of your communications tactics. Using questions similar to those used during your earlier monitoring session, you’ll now be on sharp alert for signs that audience perceptions are beginning to move in your general direction.

Throughout, keep your eye on the core of this approach: persuade your most important outside audiences with the greatest impacts on your organization to your way of thinking. Then move them to take actions that help your department, division or subsidiary prevail.

Thus, instead of measuring the rather narrow results achieved by the tactical subsets of your public relations program like special events, brochures, broadcast plugs or press releases, you will have discovered the only true measure of public relations: the results of your strategic efforts to alter individual perception among your key outside audiences leading to changed behaviors, helping you achieve your managerial objectives.

How Successful People Improve their Efficiency, Creativity and Productivity

I've felt for a long time that the masses have the wrong approach when it comes to work and play. People generally play their time off around their work and many work themselves to a point where their efficiency, creativity and productivity are at an all time low, not to mention their health, before finally conceding that they needed to take some time off to recharge their batteries. This means that time off is often not fully optimised.

However, the more I studied successful people the more I realised that they had a very different approach. First of all successful people do what they love and because of this they are naturally more energetic. I was listening to a presentation by Dr John Demartini recently. He said that he has over 400 speaking engagements this year. Yes, he has more speaking engagements than there are days in a year but he absolutely loves what he does. Work to Dr Demartini, and others like him, is play.

Yet successful people still regularly schedule time off to relax, spend time with family and friends, experience new adventures, reflect and contemplate, etc. The thing is that they tend to schedule their work around their play.

Peter Thomson, the UK's leading strategist on business and personal growth advises:

"Always book the 'time off' before you book the 'time on'."

Life is not just about hard work. Life is also meant to be enjoyed. What you gain through taking regular time off is immeasurable. Benefits include improved health and well being and also increased profitability.

With improved health and vitality you are better able to perform in your business and your efficiency increases. When you allow yourself to have regular breaks your thinking becomes clearer and you become a better strategist. This is far better for long term sustainability rather than being a tactician. It is the difference between working to a long term vision and plan and working on a day-to-day basis to put out fires. Time off work also allows your creativity to develop. But how does having more time off improve your bottom line, your profitability?

Have you ever noticed how your productivity increases just prior to going on holiday? There are things which have to be done and you pull out the stops in order to complete them. There are some individuals who confess to not having a holiday in years. Can you imagine that? It's like being caught in a rut. Now, also imagine how your productivity would increase if you were to schedule regular breaks? Here's how your working ethic would change. You would:

1. Be better organised,
2. Discover you had more energy for work,
3. Be more efficient in how you work,
4. Better prioritise your workload,
5. Work smarter instead of harder,
6. Get more done in less time, i.e. be more productive, and
7. Discover more creative ways to solve work problems.

You would also discover ways in which you could earn the same amount of money in a shorter space of time and you would develop streams of passive or residual income so that you were earning money even while at play.

So here's my challenge to you. Get a year planner for 2008 and schedule the time that you will take off during the year. Then decide where you will go and what you will do during that time. Make it exciting. Then think about what you will need to have in place and the things you will need to do to make your plans a reality. Don't worry that you don't have all the resources - financial or otherwise - in place at this time. You'll be amazed at how things can fall into place once you are clear about your goals.

You may also want to create a vision board that symbolises the places and people you will visit and the things you will do during your time off. Place your vision board in a prominent place to inspire you as you work.

Now you need to examine how you can improve your efficiency and productivity at work. Make a list of three to ten things you will implement over the next month and once you've successfully implemented those actions continue to add to the list. One excellent way to improve your efficiency and productivity is to make a list of everything that you do. From that list identify the things which you are 'qualified' to do, do well and that only you can do. Find a way to delegate or outsource everything else. This act alone will free up your time so that you can focus on what will increase your profit.

So book your time off before your work time and remember:

"Life is best enjoyed when time periods are evenly divided between labour, sleep, and recreation...all people should spend one-third of their time in recreation which is rebuilding, voluntary activity, never idleness."
Brigham Young

Limo Hire Prices: Different Aspects

The economic events of the recent times force us to think twice before spending our money. Hence, nobody is surprised when people take long time to decide on limo hire prices before they commit. Prices for limo hire differ considerably, but most often the limo hire market is similar to other markets in the sense in all these places you get what you pay for. However, people are still curious to know the limo hire prices for a typical night out. And they don’t find it easy to get the answer to that question since limo hire prices vary from £250 to £750.

There are various valid reasons for variation in the price: First, the limo model you are planning to hire. The Chrysler 300 "Baby Bentley" limos, for example, charge higher limo hire prices than the Lincoln Town Car limos since the former have a new shape and style and they have been available only since 2005. For the Hummer H3 limos also, hire prices are higher since they made their appearance only a couple of years back. These cars have a huge demand from youngsters for their school prom and trips to nightclubs during weekends. Second, the age of the limo. The limo hire price of a 2009 Lincoln Town Car limo is undoubtedly higher than a 1999 Lincoln Town Car. For the former, the seats and upholstery would typically be new, plus the latest fibre optics and laser lightning, designer drinks bar and ice containers, DVD flat screens, first-rate sound systems, intercoms, etc. However, it does not mean that you won’t get such treatment in the older limos.

Another factor that can affect the limo hire prices is the service. Companies differ in their offers of service. Some companies offer just one way trips while others might offer a cruise round the city along with stops for photos or drinks. Some companies may include soft drinks, or sometimes French champagne in their price. Some demand other expenses like premises, office staff and bespoke websites. All for the pleasure and comfort of the customer.

Prices of the limo hired should not vary much because of the distance travelled except for certain situations like a football match at Wembley from the north of England. Limo hire prices should typically reflect the original cost to the operator. Compared to a local hire where the limo is out for a full day or a whole evening, a long trip of, say, sixty miles to the city and back will come up to only a few extra miles and a little more fuel, which in turn can give an unforgettable journey.

The occasion for the hire also influences the limo hire prices. For example, for an event like a wedding, the limo provided will also be formal, added with the ribbons and bows, flowers, Champagne and even a formal chauffeur. Limo hire prices for a school prom are normally high due to high demand. Around June, even the chances of finding a limo for hire are less, let alone getting a limo for less price. On peak times like Friday nights, weekends, and special events like Royal Ascot, the FA Cup Final and the Grand National, the prices are very high.

Another factor that can affect the limo hire prices the size of the limo. For a fourteen- or sixteen-seater Hummer, the price would be double the price of a Lincoln Town car. This is because the purchasing prices of larger limos is higher or even twice the amount of smaller ones. Also, larger limos drink more fuel – some Hummers go lesser than ten miles per gallon. But the size of the limo should not be a reason for worry for you since you can always fill up the large limo with friends or family and share the cost.

Limo hire prices do vary considerably. However, if you think this through and do careful planning, you can choose a limousine even while saving some money and having good value for the money spent. When you look back on the occasion later, you should find a day full of great memories and the satisfaction that your money was spent well.

Low Cost Profit Boosting Internet Advertising Ideas

Advertising costs can quickly pile up, especially if you are a small home business.

Getting expensive exposure on TV or radio seems out of the question when we are starting out in our small enterprises. Where can you possibly find cheap advertising for home businesses? The cause seems so hopeless that many of us give up before we even begin.

This article states that many home business owners are overlooking many inexpensive opportunities to promote their businesses and increase their sales.

Many of these suggestions have been proven to work, and require but a little ingenuity and imagination. Using these ideas, you should be able to improve your visibility, without spending more than you have to.

Start off by giving something for free. People love free stuff. Especially something with clear value. No matter what business you are in, if you offer something useful for free, chances are that you will get to meet more potential customers.

A lot of businesses have found it worthwhile to issue coupons. If you are a service provider, try issuing a coupon for an hours worth of your service. You will be surprised how many turn up to take you up on your offer. If you are engaged in selling products, issue coupons that your customers can use to avail of a discount.

Print some stickers. Stickers are a very cost-efficient way of getting the word out. Ask some of your family, friends, and current customers to display your stickers prominently in their cars or personal belongings.

When combined with a catchy slogan or perhaps an excellent business offer, your stickers will bring you business far above what it cost you to print them, which will be just a few dollars. This is an excellent example of cheap advertising for home businesses.

Personalize your receipts. Most businesses use rather lackluster or generic designs on their receipts. You can take advantage of this situation. By getting your creative juices flowing and adding a little advertising into your receipts, your company will stand out in your customer minds.

Use your receipts to remind customers of what you stand for. Inform them of any upcoming events or special offers. This way, whenever your customers rifle through their records, they will consider sending some business your way.

Send some cards. This is a little courtesy secret that top salesmen have used for years. First, you get some of your customer personal information, such as their birthdates, anniversary dates, address, etc. Then you simply send them some cards during their important days, such as when they are celebrating their anniversaries, or when they have a new child.

Frequently you will be the only one who remembers. This is heavy emotional stuff for customers. Trust me. By sending cards to your customers, you make them like you better, making it more likely that they will do business with you.

Develop the reflex of passing out business cards that clearly say what your service is. One topic is all you need. Use a pretty picture, very light colored, on your business card. Use the exact same picture everytime you have your business cards printed up so the picture reminds everyone of your business. Have lots of clear contact information on the card.

Let the info be absolutely clear and simple as possible to contact you. A short email address that mentions your business in it. Phone number. Street address. Web site with a short name and aggressively related to your business so it is easy to remember. Everytime someone asks you for info of any kind, write it on the back of your business card. People will now save the card with your business contact information on it.

As you can see, there are many inexpensive ideas that can help you boost your business. Cheap advertising for home businesses is available, you just need to know where to look.
